Saturday Night Live broadcast the anticipated Trump skit last Saturday with Alec Baldwin as the 45th President and the Grim Reaper as Steve Bannon.
In the skit, Bannon directs Trump’s actions and incites him to make hostile phone calls to world leaders with threats that culminate in hang-ups. It is hilarious but terrifying at the same time.

Who is Steve Bannon and why we should care?
Steve Bannon, 62, is the former editor and CEO of far-right website Breitbart News, which produces highly questionable content and is an outlet for the alt-right movement, a new form of racism, white nationalism, and extremism. He is now assistant to the President and Chief Strategist in the Trump administration. Since January 28, 2017, he has been a regular attendee at the Principals Committee of the National Security Council, a post he is not qualified to hold.
Bannon always looks unkempt, bloated and red-faced as an alcoholic nursing a bad hangover. He has rapidly amassed power in the West Wing, eclipsing chief of staff Reince Priebus, according to media reports. He has never been an elected official or had a political post.
He served in the U.S. Navy for seven years, was an investment banker and Hollywood producer and made a fortune when he bought the rights for Seinfeld’s reruns.
In an unusual step for a person who started more or less as a media consultant, Bannon has been amassing power through anti-democratic methods that have been compared to the imposition of authoritarian governments in Russia and other countries.
Bannon is widely known for anti-immigrant and anti-Islamic statements. You can view his video rants, including one where he shares his view that “the Judeo-Christian West” is engaged in a “global war” against “jihadist Islamic fascism.”
Watch one of his disjointed rants:
Along with Stephen Miller, Bannon is believed to have been behind crafting the Muslim travel ban issued as an executive action by President Trump, which caused national and international uproar.
